Public Meeting #3 - January 27, 2011

The public is invited to stop by the open house style meeting on Thursday, January 27, anytime between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Mildale Farm, 35250 West 199th Street in Edgerton. At the open house, participants can review project information and view the preferred location for the new interchange on I-35 at Homestead Lane. The meeting will also include information regarding the diverging diamond interchange (DDI) and right-of-way. KDOT staff along with project team members will be on hand to answer questions and discuss issues or concerns.


Public Meeting #2 - April 29, 2010

The public is invited to stop by the open house style meeting on Thursday, April 29, anytime between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Mildale Farm, 35250 West 199th Street in Edgerton. At the open house, participants can review project information and view the preferred location for a proposed future interchange on I-35 between the cities of Gardner and Edgerton in Johnson County. KDOT staff along with project team members will be on hand to answer questions and discuss issues or concerns.


Public Meeting #1 - October 29, 2009

The public is invited to attend this informal public open house to view the alternative interchange location options on I-35 between Gardner and Edgerton. The new interchange project by the Kansas Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration was undertaken to look at ways to improve traffic flow that is safe and efficient due to additional travel demand that the Logistics Center and Intermodal Facility will generate. KDOT will gather public input on issues, concerns and opportunities to consider during the development and evaluation of the alternatives. Team members will be present to answer questions and concerns. Interchange alternative renderings and maps will be available for viewing.
